"Warrior"

A Commissioned Christmas Gift

This sculpture began with the inspiration of a Japanese sword. A gift for her husband in recognition of his devotion to his Aikido art and principles. The intention of the design anchored by the core values that he holds as a Warrior.

Mounted on polished steel and the grounding force of wood.
​Held in the wings of spirit.

Instilled with the symbology of strength, light, union, integration of 4 selves, wisdom, virility, longevity, and the 9 noble virtues...painted on fused glass and suspended from the stillness & grace of a feather.

​This was sent to me when he opened his gift.  

It speaks volumes.  

So grateful to play a part in creating these moments.
