It has been three weeks since I've been home,
and I can still hear the seagull cries over my morning coffee in the Fowey harbor...
It was a blessing to enjoy 2 weeks in Cornwall, England with 6 amazing women. Every day was a journey of exploration....a new fishing village with transportation by foot, ferry, train, shuttle or local bus..most days a combination of all the above.
We visited over 12 coastal villages all with their own unique charm, harbor configuration, galleries, sit down cream teas and local pub experience. Each presenting a different feeling, flavor and opportunity for discovery.
The images that I continue to carry with me are the colorful boats surrounded by a backdrop of patterned cottages, seagull covered rooftops and flag draped village quays.
Having walked many miles, enjoyed many Cornish pasties and hard ciders, laughed hard and smelled the breeze coming off of the English Channel...I've been celebrating the feelings of Cornwall in my latest creation.
